IN BANGLADESH, A COUNTRY HOUSE IS REMINISCENT OF THE CHARM OF RURAL ARCHITECTURE (AND LIFE)

Rooted in Bangladeshi lands, not far from Chittagong, the country's commercial capital,Shikor is a country house that finds all the charm of rural architecture in the simplicity of its shapes . Not surprisingly, in the local language, Shikor is the term used to indicate the "roots": the origin from which everything begins. There is therefore no lack of continuous references to the surrounding nature and the purity of the site that welcomes it. Conceived by the Spatial Architects team , it is the domestic refuge of a local family, whose history is inevitably intertwined with the past of the land on which it is built.
